No upfront cost
A solar carport with no upfront cost.
SUUN finances, installs and maintains the canopy on your car park. You only pay for the electricity you use, at a lower price than the grid.
How it works
Pay for the energy, not the canopy.
A limited upfront fee
A single commissioning fee covering the study and permits.
Cheaper than the grid
A price set at signature and indexed more slowly than grid electricity: the gap in your favour grows every year.
Everything included
Maintenance, remote monitoring and insurance are covered by SUUN for the whole contract.
No technical risk
Production, faults and equipment replacement: SUUN carries the risks of the installation.
10 years, renewable
A 10-year commitment, then 5-year periods. You remain free to buy the canopy.
A relocatable structure
A demountable canopy: if your site changes, it can be moved or taken back.

| Buying the canopy | SUUN, no upfront cost | |
|---|---|---|
| Upfront investment | The full price of the canopy | A limited commissioning fee |
| Electricity | Free once the canopy is paid off | Cheaper than the grid from the first month |

| Cash and debt | Tied up | Preserved |
| Best for | Sites with cash available and a long horizon | Sites that want savings now, without risk |
Indicative example for one 30 m module (24 spaces, about 72 kWp) on a site that uses most of its production during the day: savings of around €200 per month from the first year, and more than €100,000 over 25 years. Each offer is based on the site’s bills and consumption profile, after a study.
Your car park produces, you save from the first month.
No loan, no capital tied up, no works to manage: your cash stays available for your core business.
Third-party financing explainedSelf-consumption on car parksWho owns the canopy?
SUUN, or the project company that finances it. You make your car park available and buy the electricity produced. At the end of the contract, you can renew, buy the canopy or have it dismantled.
What if I consume less than expected?
You only pay for the kWh consumed on your site. Electricity you do not use is sold by SUUN. That is why each study starts from your actual consumption profile.
How long is the commitment?
A 10-year commitment, renewable for 5-year periods. A move or a change of use of the site is handled case by case: contract transfer, relocation or dismantling of the structure.
Is this the same as third-party financing?
It is a form of third-party financing, provided directly by SUUN, the designer of the canopy. The third-party financing guide explains the possible structures and what to watch.
